My skincare routine.

 MY SKINCARE ROUTINE.

I've always tried to do the best for my skin, growing up as teen I suffered bad with acne. At the age I am now which is twenty seven years old, my acne is not visible anymore but I do have the occasional breakout. My skin type is combination. I decided to change my skincare routine. My skincare routine at the moment is very basic, I have used products which are affordable and suit my skin well. I did a small haul online with Superdrug, this is where all the products featured below have come from. I do also talk about The body shop green tea toner which I also use in my skincare routine because I switched it with another toner because I prefer the body shop tree tea toner.

I do a morning and nightcare skincare routine.

Superdrug haul:

Morning skincare routine:
Cleanse, tone, serum, oil, moisturise, lip care.

1) I cleanse my face using Simple moisturising facial wash. I bought this simple facewash because it is soft on my skin. I wet my face beforehand with warm water and rub the cleanser in until it goes a bit foamy and then I splash it of with warm water. I sometimes do use a Liz earle hot cloth to remove any residue from my skin.

2) I tone my face. I was using a Nivea 2 in 1 toner which smells great but I like to use a different toner as I'm not one hundred percent on this Nivea toner, so at the moment I use the Tea tree skin clearing mattifying toner from the body shop. One of my other favourite toners is liz earle.

3) Serum. I use the Revolution skincare serum. I really notice a different when using this product. It really helps with my pores. This serum helps to reduce the look of pores and blemishes. My skin is also dry and this really helps soothe my skin. It drys into the skin really well and doesn't leave my face sticky. I’m really happy with this face product.

4) Face oil. I am using the Superdrug calm skin balancing facial oil which smells lovely and it goes such a long way. You only need to use 2-3 drops. This oil is going to last me a long time. It comes in such a small bottle but like I said, it goes a long way. I like to use my finger tips to pat this into my skin. It really helps keeps my face balanced and not too oily. I really like this product.

5)Moisturise. I am using the nivea day cream with spf. I have used this product in the past and it does the job for for my face. It’s a lightweight day cream which I also use on my neck using upward strokes.

6) Vitamin E lip balm. I like this product and it drys quite well on my lips. If I overdo this product it can tend to be a bit sticky. I like this lip product for now but I may change this in the future. It is very adorable though and does what it says.

I do not have any eye care at the moment, I need to put this into my skin care routine.

Night care skin routine:
Cleanse, tone, oil, moisturiser, night facial cream.
1) I repeat the step as mentioned above with the simple facial wash.
2) I repeat the step above with the body shop tea tree toner.
3) I repeat the step above with the face oil.
4) I use an anti-ageing cream moisturiser from olay. I use three small pumps of this product all over my face. I really like this product. You can also use this in the daytime which is what I sometimes do and use it with the Nivea day cream. It does help make my skin look softer and smooth.

5) I finish off my night care routine with a facial night cream from Nivea which I use on my neck also. This helps keeps my skin balanced over night. It dries quickly and leave my face feeling fresh ready for bed.

Thanks for reading my skincare post.

Much love, Nikki.
