My hair and hair products I use.
Hair care, routine and product reviews!
I wanted to share my tips and products I use on my hair.
My hair is long and naturally brown but I get blonde highlights and I get trims regularly and some layers now and then. I really notice a difference in getting trims, makes my hair thicker too.
I use quite a good amount of shampoo when washing my hair which is 3-4 times a week.
I only use conditioner on the ends of my hair BUT I do sometimes put conditioner on all of my hair but not all the time because too much conditioner for my hair makes it greasy.
I also like to wash my hair in lukewarm water, never hot water. I also try to avoid hot hair dryers and use the cold function on it. I straighten my hair but that isn't often either. My hair is quite straight, so not really much heat from straightening is needed.
I recently started doing hair masks too. I've done a few hair masks in the past but I've never really found them useful for me personally. My hair never really needed hair masks although I know some people find them extremely useful. Even though I don't really use hair masks I bought one recently because I wanted to see what the fuss was about.
I bought a Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment from boots. I didn't notice too much of a difference after using this mask but there was a small change which was softness in my hair.
The hair mask I bought can also be used in the hair and be left in too for more hydration.
The shampoos, conditioners and hair products I use are:
- Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment
- Ultimate Blends Honey Strengthening Conditioner
- Herbal Essences Hydration Hair Conditioner Coconut
- Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo Pomegranate
- L'Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths Long Hair Shampoo
- Pantene pro-v smooth & sleek 3 in 1 shampoo
- Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical
- Tresemme Pro Collection Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray
I know that the list above looks a lot but I have tried out a lot of products and I use the products mentioned above every week but I don't use these products all at once. I like to change the products regularly.
I can't afford expensive hair care so these products are what work best for my hair and what I find leaves my hair feeling soft and thick after every wash.
Every hair is different and the products I use may not be good for other hair types but it took me a while to keep finding products that are good for me. I just wanted to share my love for these products and also these share these products because they are really affordable.
I hope anyone reading this will find my hair routine and tips useful.
